What to Do with Old Golf Clubs

Golf clubs may not be accepted in regular curbside recycling programs, but there are a few responsible options for disposing of them:

  • Donate: If your golf clubs are still in good condition, consider donating them to a local charity, community center, or youth organization. They may be able to use them for their programs or events.
  • Sell: If your golf clubs are in good shape but you no longer want them, you can try selling them online or at a consignment store. Someone else may be in need of a set of clubs.
  • Recycle: While not all recycling centers accept golf clubs, some specialized centers or scrap metal yards may accept them for recycling. Check with your local waste management facility or recycling center to see if they have any special guidelines or requirements for recycling golf clubs.

Keep in mind that golf clubs are not hazardous or pose a safety risk, so they can safely be disposed of in regular trash if needed. However, it's always better to explore reuse or recycling options before resorting to landfill disposal.
